The GEOSPATIAL PETROLEUM is a company that uses remote sensing and geospatial technologies for oil and gas industry applied for onshore and offshore exploration and environmental issues. It is a startup company originated at SAR Remote Sensing Laboratory Applied for Oil and Gas Industry of COPPE / UFRJ. The company is able to offer specialized high technology solutions to the O&G market such as: improve the process for offshore and onshore hydrocarbon exploration; quick response to emergency situations of offshore oil spills; answer highly complex problems of flooded areas e.g. tropical forest regions.
